John Cratchley
I keep coming back to Bill Laswell's catalogue...it's spectacular in its quality and diversity; he's posted some pretty rare things too...an object lesson in sonic possibilities...dig in!
HystriX
The album with which I deeply fell in love with the ambient music for the first time. Dark underwater landscapes of Distal Sonority are really somnific but you don't want to sleep with them, the music always changes and makes you want to listen to it. Capacious has a bit different approach but follows the mood. In my list of "the best conceptual albums of all time and space".
Favorite track: Distal Sonority.
