John Jolley This live recording sounds a bit clearer than many of the live recordings available on Bassmatter, and it's an absolute delight hearing Laswell front and center doing his thing with these incredible drummers behind him. SuperDeluxe must have a great recording setup; this recording sounds nearly as good as the live LPs released by the Haino/O'Rourke/Ambarchi trio recorded there. Peak improv jams, dig it! May want to correct the misspelling of Laswell's name here though ;-) Favorite track: Bass & Drums Complete Session part 1.
